Elli's obsession for films began when he was eleven and discovered classic horror and sci-fi flicks. Being a child of the 80's this led him to consuming every VHS tape that he could get his hands on.

In 2000 he graduated from Queen's University with a Film Studies degree and three short films that he directed under his belt.

After short stint as a production assistant working on Nero Wolfe, he became hungry to learn the business side of film and embarked to do a Master's in Media and Creative Enterprises at the University of Warwick in the UK.

Despite his scholastic pursuits, his passion for directing films never extinguished. He currently is working on his latest opus The Lonely Organist which he will be shooting in the spring of 2012.
